During our LavaLife review it seems like a good prospect at first. It’s been around since 1983 in the form of personals and online for more than a decade. All that experience should help with matching people up, right?
Wrong. It doesn’t Match you. You have to search and hope. That means we read through hundreds of profiles just to make sure they’d remotely Match the profile we used to send messages. Hundreds of those didn’t fit at all and weren’t women we’d ever be interested in. When we sent out our five hundred messages, we got a whole eighty-one responses. Not a single one turned into a date, not even the one woman who looked like she might be acceptable LavaLife scams abounded. Considering we set up dates with all our Top Five sites, it’s not our methods at fault.
LavaLife.com: Review Our Results Using The LavaLife.com Site
It was almost impossible to even find women to contact on LavaLife.com. They claim to be a leader in dating personals. Maybe that was true in the Dark Ages, but here in the twenty-first century, just offering personals isn’t enough. The amount of work users have to go through just to try to find someone is absurd.
Then there’s how it pans out. We contacted five hundred semi-acceptable women. Eighty-one replied. That’s 16.2% of all the women we contacted. Most of these women seemed desperate. Sixteen had kids they hadn’t mentioned before. Thirty-three turned out to be fake, based on their replies. The other thirty-two just weren’t anything like women we’d want to date. The site has to do some quality control. At least find a way to attract more women, LavaLife.com. Maybe then users’ time will pay off.
LavaLife.com Issues: 3 Things LavaLife.com Didn’t Do Well
Our LavaLife review proved that it couldn’t be worse on matching if they tried. That’s because they don’t. When users sign up, they enter personal information, like on any other site. All that does, though, is go into a database for LavaLife scam artists. They don’t suggest matches. You have to input characteristics you want in a prospective partner. If you want that five-eight, French-speaking twenty-two-year-old, you have to hope their search engine turns up someone anything like that. Hint: it won’t.
There’s also the huge number of fake accounts. We weeded through a lot just to find five hundred women we could contact; even then, close to half of the women who replied to us were actually fake accounts. If you want to date a computer, more power to you, but it’s not our idea of a good time.
We’re pretty sure LavaLife.com has a good reason that it’s free. That would be that no one would want to pay to use it. Anyone who reads the front page finds out that LavaLife.com thinks they’re awesome for being around so long, but then they find out about having to manually search for prospects. Any decent site, like Match, will suggest prospects. Not LavaLife.com; they’re too cool for that.
LavaLife.com Review: Is LavaLife.com Legit & Worth Joining?
When we contact five hundred women, we expect to get more than eighty-one responses. Really, if you exclude the thirty-three fake profiles, we got forty-eight responses. That’s less than one response per day of sending out messages. When we don’t get a single date set up after sending five hundred messages, we can’t possibly call the site quality. Check out Match or one of the other top five if you want something that could result in a date. LavaLife.com just isn’t worth it.
